SULFUR Game Guide

Quick Answer

To beat St. Lucia, kill her assassins, wait out ghosts, and shoot the projectiles appearing in the darkness. Destroying those projectiles makes Lucia burn; missing them sets you on fire. Keep healing through her final scream attacks, then collect three separate rare drops.

How do you beat St. Lucia's phases in order?

You should attack after Lucia spreads her threads, interrupt assassins, and save your next shooting window for returning ghosts.

St. Lucia waits in the throne room on the Castle's final floor. You can use the storage chest just before her chamber to prepare equipment or stash items. If you are choosing equipment, compare SULFUR weapon builds before entering.

Wait for her opening position

Let Lucia reach the arena's center and spread her threads before beginning your main attack. She floats around the chamber and attacks from range, including burning beams. Keep moving while you handle her attacks.

Kill the cultist assassins immediately

Switch your attention to assassins as soon as they appear. Grenades, mines, or other explosives are useful for eliminating them before they interrupt your movement. Return your attention to Lucia once you have dealt with them.

Survive the ghosts, then resume shooting

During the ghost sequence, concentrate on avoiding damage. Resume shooting when the ghosts return to Lucia. Her powerful screams are another attack you need to survive during the encounter.

Shoot the projectiles when darkness falls

Look toward the center of the darkness for appearing projectiles. Destroy them before they activate to make Lucia burn instead of you. This is your immediate priority when the room goes dark.

Handle the repeated summons and darkness

At around 50% health, Lucia summons assassins again. Near 40%, she repeats the darkness attack. Repeat the same responses: eliminate assassins immediately, then shoot the projectiles during darkness.

Heal through the final screams

During the final stretch, Lucia stays near the center with her threads extended. She relies heavily on screams here. Heal when needed and maintain pressure until she falls.

What should you shoot when St. Lucia blinds you?

You should shoot the projectiles appearing in the center of the darkness before they activate.

Successfully destroying them causes Lucia to burn. Failing causes you to catch fire instead. Treat the darkness as an attack you can interrupt, rather than simply waiting for visibility to return.

Lucia can darken the entire room, leaving faint glows from summoned eyes. Use the projectile response above when she darkens the room.

Lucia becomes temporarily invulnerable during scripted phase transitions. Wait for the transition to finish before committing your next attack.

What is St. Lucia weak to?

You can turn her darkness attack against her, but no special elemental weakness is established.

Her listed HP is 8,000. Fire, Frostbite, Charm, Petrify, Earth, and Bleed each have a listed 100% value. Those equal values give you no listed advantage between these effects.

The actionable opening is the darkness sequence: destroy its projectiles and Lucia burns instead of you. Avoid choosing an element solely because her own attacks involve fire. If you are comparing effects, consult the SULFUR enchantments guide before committing your equipment.

What does St. Lucia drop?

You receive three separate items, each rolled independently from the same rare loot pool.

These are three rolls, rather than three fixed rewards. There is no additional guaranteed Sulfur payout. The possible rewards include the following items:
